“There’s the general idea that when people know better, they do better”. So if you truly act based on what you know, it makes sense that you never only assume that you know, you must “know that you know”.

Many ideologies, beliefs, and perspectives sincerely believed and adhered to, wrongfully direct the life and experiences of unsuspecting individuals. For example, there’s a popular motivation that tells people “do not give up”, especially in the pursuit of anything worthwhile. Now, while that might seem like wise counsel, it can be the worst counsel if not received or used in context to a persons specific situation or experience in life. There are situations where giving up is the highest expression of wisdom and to not give up at those times would be you negotiating with your next level of pain and misery, or like one of my mentors would say, with giving up the ghost!

Nothing beats good counsel, and nothing guarantees success, growth, and the achievement of dreams, and possibilities like following the precepts of good counsel.
